Scythe_Snake breaks Dyno Virginity
Scythe_Snake breaks Dyno Virginity
Well, I put my SS/TC on a Mustang Dyno Heartbreaker (so few dyno jets.
) at an opening day at Benchmark Performance in Melrose Park, Illinois. The first tune they put it in competition mode and it hit the launch control limiter. This run.....what did I put down?

Hahn Intake
Hahn FMIC
Hahn IC Piping
Hahn Catless DP
Hahn Exhaust
Dejon Spring
Trifecta Stealth Tune (Not Infiniboost)
New Vacuum Box Reroute
This is a 3rd gear pull. I will post up the 4th gear pull video and dyno sheets and dyno jet number conversions later tonight.
EDIT: Well here we go:
This was a bunch of dsm guys who didn't even know the ss/tc existed. The guys said their dyno reads about 25%-30% lower than a dyno jet, and 5%-10% lower than the average mustang dyno. One of the guys talking towards the end of the second video is a guy with a fully built galant vr-4 that hangs out with me a lot. Pics and dyno sheets below.
Getting on the dyno:

4th Gear Pull Dyno Sheet:

I wasn't going there to dyno but my DSM buddies wanted to see what I did on this dyno, and least to say I represented the cobalt community best I could. They were impressed and many who wanted to run against me when I got there, retracted their statements. Hope you all enjoyed.

Its a small part/supporting mod that just adds and helps out. I would say it is a good 10 bucks. If you want an HKS or whatever then maybe not, but I don't want one with my current set up.
Thanks man. And this is true.
I bought it for 13 bucks from dejon to support a vendor mostly.
switchable tune only activated in Competitive mode and ESC T/C mode.

so all with respect to dejon, only install their spring if the T/C is tune for 22+psi?? because the spring will hold the pressure in better??? i'm tune to 22-23psi ish with SRI, i guess its okay to install the spring.
i have the hks witht the dejon spring and the spring is not supposed to be in there. it is making werid noises like i have the bpv noise and the hks noise. also i have a cel p2261
Don't tell me what to do you're not my real dad!!!!!...i think.
Getting the pics today.
