My subs are in a tub in the spare tire well, and even with 2 layers of sound deadner on the bottom and 3 on the top that back deck lid rattles like an S.O.B.

Other than that, you seem to have a good idea of what you want and how to get there, I'm just trying to warn you about the sub facing up, face it to the rear, face it to the front, just don't face it up, don't port it up either....trust me.
I know it may cause some excess rattles but this is what the client wants. He wants the box to have a low center of gravity so it's not as likely to tip.

sry i actually dont remember the measurements of the rear opening off the top of my head i know the bottom is 37" and its 16" tall

u should be able to get it thru thou. im pretty sure our 12" box is 32" wide
