i did a search the threads where kinda all over the place...i wanna know how much of a pain in my ass it will be to put a 07 head unit in my 06 ss.sc...

the gist of the hundred or so more threads on this subject is, it fits in fine and works, but if you have the steering wheel volume controls it can cause a problem, somthing about the buttions not matching up,
if you dont have the steering wheel control then it shoudl work fine

 

i forget the member who did the swap but i remember as i watched the thread he ran in to tons of problems before he finally got it to work. i remember feeling like it wouldnt be worth the trouble/time.

 

what about swapping the steering wheels along w/ the radios?? i don't like the 05-06 wheels

 

just go buy a new HU
