08 SS/TC + Ipod

Just a real quick question, I have an 08 SS and I was wondering if there is a usb/aux input on the back of the stereo?

I'm looking to hook up my Ipod to the stereo (Yes I can do it through the front AUX jack) But I'm looking for something where I can can control my ipod through the stereo, etc

any help would be great
thanks

not really. 09s have the usb as an option i belive but its not ipod compatable. You would need to go with an aftermarket deck or pal system

the ipod cable from GM (PAL) is for 07+ 05-06 you cant do anything "direct". You can spend 150 on a aftermarket module to give you a aux thru the sat radio plug if you wanted to but might as well get a aftermarket hu in that case

Personal Audio Link. I think its about $150 from GM. Lets you plug you ipod into the back of the stock HU and control it through the radio.

The PAL from GM is ok.......but it is rather slow in response time. I was not a huge fan of it.

Define slow response time, just slow loading time between songs?

Basically. I've also heard of people updating the firmware on their iPods and fixing that problem.

Does anyone have this for their 05/06?

Can you hook up other mp3 players like the Zune or only the iPod?
