I may be aquiring a 2007 Silverado (new body style) radio. From what I understand the new Silverado and Cobalt share the same radio. If that is the case, how difficult would it be to swap the '07 radio into my '06 Cobalt SS? I really just want the radio for the auxillary audio jack but if it's not going to work someone please tell me now I'm not interested in installing an FM modulated setup for iPod use. If it came down to that I'd just install an iPod-ready aftermarket head unit.

I think there is a thread somewhere where someone tried to put an 07 cobalt radio in to their 06 and I dont think it worked out very well. I think some of the buttons worked, and some didnt... let me try and find it.

That is where SilverSS/SC did it, but it was a frankenstein of a job, lol.
