The 08' Sport model with auto trans comes with Traction Control and Stabilitrak. Are there switches to manually turn off either or both of these systems? The norm for GM is to give you an off switch but program a default mode of on upon restart etc.

actually, yes there is a switch to turn off the traction control.

i test drove one yesterday and the salesman personally showed me the button. it's to the right of the steering wheel on the dash.

 

If you push the traction control button and hold it in, the stabilitrack should turn off as well. The newer TBSS's have this as well
