Here's the story I had an issue with the HU in my car so the dealership replaced it. Well when I got it back it had the loud door chime issue and after reading that is a problem with these new radios I started thinking would a radio with a USB jack in the front swap right in?? I know people have done it but was your door chime the same volume or was it louder?? Any info will help thanks .

 

do u have the pioneer system? is the entire stereo louder?

 

yea the entire sound system is louder there is is service bulletin on it

yea it is the pioneer Isn't that the only option in a 2009 cobalt SS

 

idk 2.4 its an option isnt it? idc anyway problem is they ordered you the base radio not the pioneer radio so unless u get a pioneer radio then ur stuck
