Accessory Power and Car Starters

So I got my car starter put in and it works great, but...

In order to arm my system (manual transmission), I have to remove the key from the ignition (it will stay running), and step out and it'll shut off when the door closes.

Only problem, since it shuts off after I close the door, the accessory power stays on till it times out (10 minutes I think). Anybody find a work around?

Since all the communication between the car and starter is done through a computer module that came with the starter, there's no way to break the circuit when the car shuts off very easily... It's going to drive me nuts, any thoughts?

You have to program it to shut the RAP feature off.
I had the same problem with mine the day they installed it but it was taken care of before I left the shop.

What kind of Alarm/Remote start do you have?
