Adding an Ipod Jack

I have a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC and it does not have an ipod jack, I want to be able to connect my ipod.

So I am wondering what kind of PITA will it be to install a 2007 Radio or if there is a good aftermarket one that will fit in that space and keep all of the features or maybe an HD but NO GPS! that looks correct.

I do not have a huge gaping hole in my dash, I also do not plan on changing out any other part of the factory system.

Were you able to keep your factory keyless entry and do all of the other features on your car the require the factory radio still work? Cause I want to get a new head unit, I just don't want to lose any features. know what I mean?

the factory keyless entry should not be affected when u install a new radio. if u want to keep all the bells and whistles, it all depends on the harness use

Thank you sput,

I am going to take all of this into consideration, I am still quite unsure of what I want to do,

the only thing that is leaning me towards getting a new head unit is the HD capabilities,

I will swing by a couple of radio places in my area and get some hard core information on all of it and I will be making a decision.

Thank you all alot,
PD
