Hey guys so i just bought dual interceptors and my question is i have the zzp triple pod but on my factory pillar were the new gauge pod goes the little circular piece you have to take off the oem pillar says airbag on it.now i had the same setup on my lsj but it didnt have a airbag in the piller.so to install my new piller do i just disconnect the battery to avoid setting off that airbag or what?

 

The air bag is not actually in the pillar. Pop out the tab that says airbag, remove the torx head screw behind it. yank firmly. Done.

 

Actually that airbag is marking the airbag ground screw I think, I may be wrong.

 

What they said. I believe the airbag is actually above the headliner over the door. Don't quote me on that, but it's for sure not in the pillar.

 

Not to get off topic, but does anyone know if the interceptors display oil pressure on our cars? Their website says it may or may not depending on the vehicle...

 

I don't believe they do but I read about them back in 07 so I may be wrong.

 

Only if you install a sending unit.
