aftermarket headunit?

Anyone here have an aftermaket headunit installed? I like how my stock MP3 one looks, but I need it to better suit my system. I have a Pioneer MP3/CD 200 watter from my last car. I just don't want the thing to look rediculous in that big space in the dash. I have the silver SS dash. I really want an Alpine, but I'll just use the Pioneer for now. Anyone have any pictures of their units installed? I need these ASAP!! Also, when you installed the kit or whatever, to keep it in. Does the player stick out alot, or is it pretty flush? In my Cadillac, that thing stuck out like crazy.

Well I saw an adaptor on eGay. The problem however is, it's black. The redioa are is all a silvery color. That's not a big deal though. Anyone know what color code that silvery dash is? I'll just paint it to match. I did that with my Honda all over the place. I did some much black on that car.

But I still need a pic of a radio actually IN the car/adaptor!

I installed the Alpine 9855 in my car. I just bought the mounting kit and painted it silver. I took the silver part of the dash above the glove box into the paint store and they matched the color.

Actually...that looks alot better than I thought it would.

Do you have the stock speakers or the Pioneer? I'm putting this into my Pioneer set up, and just wanted to know if the sound was any cleaner / crisper like you get from many aftermarket headunits.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. I really hated to take the stock stereo out because I like how it looked in the car, but I got tired of the sound of the Pioneer. It sounded decent, especially for stock, but not good enough for me. As far as the rest of the stereo, I replaced everything. Luckily, the speakers fit from my Grand Am I had before the Cobalt.
