Aftermarket headunit help

Hey guys, I recently had an 06 cobalt LS with a system in it. Had a kenwood excelon headunit installed professionally. JL 12'' W6 sub was in there. I traded in the cobalt for a 06 Cobalt SS supercharged. It has the stock system in there. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to go about putting in my headunit back in the new car. For now i will keep the stock speakers. I will get some speakers later. But i just want the headunit and sub and stuff back in. Is there anything different from LS or can i just simply plug everything in like it was the last car?
