Has any one installed an after market headunit in a 07 or up with the metra 70 2202 harness?

No I haven't bought it yet, wanted to get an opinion first, just don't wanna spend 100 bucks just to get some door chimes

Eff door chimes! I bought the expensive harness and the door chime feature doesn't work anyway! lol. I don't miss them at all. If you haven't bought a harness, just get the basic one or hard wire it. You're adding a 4 channel amp anyway, aren't you? I posted in your OCC thread too.

No it's just a 2 channel will be adding a four channel later,

Now will I run into problem if I have a 2 channel powering 2 aftermarket front speakers and a 4 channel powering the stock stuff and a mono powering the subs? Will it work ?

I know nothing bout audio ****, sorry lol

correct me if i'm wrong but you shouldn't use a mono amp on your sub, won't get anything out of it. you should get a regular amp for your sub

techniclly no that wouldnt be a problem but that doesnt make any sense. so you plan on changing the 2 front door speakers and powering them with a 2 channel? then with a 4 channel powering the 2 rear speakers and the 2 stock tweeters? then mono for the sub?
