aftermarket speaker

what should i get to replace the front speakers for a resonable price?

I'm replacing both front and rear speakers this month. Going with either alpine (comp. speakers in front) or boston. Even kicker I like it actually. But prob it will be either alpine or boston

well kenwood makes one that is just plain and would flow nicely
Kenwood KFC-P709PS Performance Series 6-3/4" component speaker system — also fits 6-1/2" openings at Crutchfield.com

why is that. you have to pop out that cover so that the speaker cover can go on

the cover doesnt come off... its molded and part of the door.... can u actually see the speaker yes but anything dark in color will look the same. even lighter grays and such aren't noticeable unless ur looking for it.

so id get a speaker you like the sound of not necessarily the look

Y'd that one dude say only use 2 ohm... We can't throw in a 4 ohm speaker???

if you have the pioneer system the speakers are 2 ohm. and even with the most efficient speaker ever you will notice a volume decrease from the 2 ohm to the 4 ohm. the only solution is replacing the radio and doing a stock amp bypass or adding an amp and doing a stock amp bypass
