aftermarket starter with g8 switchblade key?

Hi Guys,

Saw this http://www.ebay.com/itm/400302585705?item=400302585705&viewitem=&vxp=mtr and was wondering if it would be possible to program it with my remote starter/keyless entry ProStart | ProGuard - Total Vehicle Convenience at your Fingertips ?

I know I have to deal with the passloc III since my key has the + on it, but I figure I could get the key cut and put the transponder from my current key into this new remote.

Would this work? Anyone see why it would or wouldn't?

Thanks in advance

Being that the starter/remote system is aftermarket, do you think there would be any issues with the buttons being recognized at all? or plug and play? Thinking it might be worth a shot, but want feedback before dropping $100 for something if it might not work

Im almost posative the aftermarket key isnt going to program with the aftermarket remote start that is programmed to the stock system. And the scion guys have a completely different security than gm. I work at a toyota scion dealer and programming those keys is so so different than gm. You could pick one or the other op but not both.
