Hey guys i just installed a 12" sub in my 2008 cobalt coupe and ive tuned my amp and it sounds awesome. The only probably is recently ive noticed some rattling and I've figured out its actually my rearview mirror. Any suggestions on how to get rid of this rattle

 

Is it only when you crank up the music

 

Sounds weird, but I loosened the screw a bit on mine and it drastically cut down on the rattling. Still shakes but not audibly anymore

 

Its a cobalt.... get ready for more rattles.

unscrew the mirror put the butyl of dynamat extreme, second skin damplifer or possibly some butyl rope from a hardware store??? reinstall and if u really want to go overboard put lock tight on the screw

 

Still gonna rattle but thats should def take care of the whole mirror gonna fall off rattle.

 

idk mine doesnt rattle at all but then again my system is a low end monster so maybe high ass bass would make it rattle??
