Did you run the red wire to your fuse box? Also do you have an 05-06 or an 07?

I had my buddy install it. I'm not messing around with GM's crazy wiring.

You know what I mean. Late-model GM cars have some craptastic wiring. The harness is a bitch, some areas are too tight, and some wires are not where they usually are in other cars. Technicians do not like GM cars.

The red wire is the ACC wire, it needs to be tapped to something that is only powered on by accessory (this way the head unit knows when to be on and when to be off) You can use a fuse tap and tap the sunroof or an empty fuse in the box. Until you do this, your head unit wont work and or will drain your battery till its dead.
