alarm wire question/trigger sensor (negative)

I am trying to install and DEI audio sensor. Since I dont have a DEI system, I need to wire the alarm to the stock alarm in my 06 SS. I have looked at the diagram..but I am having trouble figuring out which wire I need to tap into. I am looking for a Instant trigger sensor input.

No one?? I would assume even any aftermarket alarm would require the same wire??

found this with some more searching..but for the alarm/disarm it doesn't list any wires..just uses remote key. I guess im looking for the negative wire that sets off the alarm.

Diode isolate the wire and tap into one of The door trigger wires that turn the dome light on.u also have to wire the sensor into a wire that switches to ground when u shut the car off(to turn the sensor on) because the sensor will trigger the dome light on and off while ur driving. I know the ignition wire switches to ground when u turn the car off,but it might burn out ur sensor when it reads 12v when u start the car.

not sure what a diode isolation is but ill look it up. Sensor says its rated for 12V so I think hooking it in with my stereo should be fine. Good to know I am getting somewhere with this lol thanks!

Well I messed around with it this weekend and it seems to be working but with a slight problem. My Door is triggering every few seconds now. Will do the 3 chimes and say Door Ajar and looks will engage constantly while driving. Any idea on what might be causing this?

I have a 2door so I only had the Grey/Black and Tan/White Wire (though I had 2 tan/whites I used a voltmeter to test which was the door trigger). I wired the 2 diodes up to the door triggers then wired them to my alarm wire.

I know the diodes have to be in correct so should be preventing feedback. I know they are in the correct way because I followed a diagram and the alarm wasn't working (because the diagram showed the diodes going the wrong way), I then turned them and it started working fine (diode polarity faces towards teh device).

I rechecked to make sure the connections were good, and they are. So any idea what is causing my door trigger to constatly trigger? (maybe diode to small..its 50V - 1A..pretty sure while driving my car isn't constaly putting out over 50V...)

Thanks!

Edit: Seems anything that would set off my alarm is triggering this problem. Dont see how since I have the diodes there..but I guess I can just unhook it while driving..

I think its just being overly sensitive (even on the lowest setting my ebrake clicking will set it off). Guess I should invest in something better.
