The unit should be pretty straightword to install. I have never installed an Alpine deck but tons of Pioneers. I would just follow the installation instructions and it should be similar to a regular head unit. You will need a double din install kit as well - check out one of the last posts in the general stereo faq at the top for the link to the kit.

 

I have the same unit installed in my cobalt, if you have the dash kit its really strait forward. If you plan on playing DVD when the cars moving thats going to be tricky.

 

i wanted that head unit pretty badly but its way too expensive.. let me know when you get it installed id love to see it

oh and as far as ive seen from all the other threads on it and other head units, its exactly the same as any other head unit you just need the double din dash kit, all as previously mentioned

 

well just to let yall know i got it installed professionally since i dont wanna mess with the wiring, illl get you guys pics ASAP
