amplified antenna

hey does anyone know if the antenna jack is negative or postive.... this thing has the antenna jack and another wire that either needs ground or power not sure which... and if it needs power where is the best place to splice into?

The center pin on the antenae plug is 'signal' the outside of the plug is Ground or negative. No idea what the extra cable would be for. If it is truly an amplifier it may be the 12V Postive connection assuming it needs power.
