Antenna removal/replacement

Hello everybody!
So recently I have had to urge to get rid of the whip antenna but I can't think of how I could replace it. Now I do have an 09 Cobalt LT with the ONStar/XM combo on the top and I was wondering if you could somehow retrofit an FM antenna and hook it up to it. If not I would love to know how you guys did it!

P.S. I tried thru-glass and they sucked as much as I thought they would.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
