Anyone have a Valentine One?
Anyways, I personally use a V1. Best detector I've had... plus the magnesium case is durable, having survived a roll-over while sitting on the windshield. I mount mine up high, hardwired.
1) Since 1997, if you get caught with it, that is a federal felony ($10K/1yr)
2) Pain the ass to keep calibrated.
3) Easy to detect as most newer guns will indicate that it is being jammed (RFI)
4) Difficult to obtain, since you cannot legally purchase it.
Well... there are a few issues with the scorpion:

they should change the color of the led bulbs.
instead of all red. have like red for laser. yellow for radar. green for K band. and like blue for X band

decent idea, but most people dont look at the radar when it goes off, i know what it is by the sound it makes. i think thats why they make different sounds.
but still i wouldnt mind a christmas tree radar
and no i didnt buy her a valentine one, i gave her a beltronics 995. no to bad lol
Right now I have a cable running from my cigarette lighter. I'll hardwire it this weekend if I have time. It'll be in the same place as that pic on the first page. That seems to be the only good place for it.
