Whats up,
Im getting a set of jl XR650-CSi components for up front.My friend has the vr series components in his acura tl,and they sound awsome.The xr series is a higher model i believe,so i hope they sound better.Who here has experience with these components?Im also thinking about throwing some jl 6x9 coaxles in the rear.I have a jl 10w1 in the stock box and im happy with it,so im gonna stick with jl.

 

I had the JL XR653 (3-way's) in my old car. They were amazing. No distortion at full power. They are extremely power hungry. I powered mine with a JL 300/2. Amazing.

 

So you were happy with them right?Cool.There are alot of people that hate jl with a passion.Sure alot of there **** is expensive,but you get what you pay for.My friend has 1 10w7 in his truck,and that thing slams.Your right about it being power hungry,they do require alot of power.
