Ark shorty antenna

Got a question regarding this antenna. Got mine the other day tried installing it and the inside diameter is off on the antenna itself compared to the stock one. Is this a problem anyone else has heard of.

Did you order the right one? 05-06 are different than 07-10.

The part number pulls up as 07-10. Im thinking the previous owner did something there that isnt oem.

Mine was a total pain to get on. If you search google for the issue you'll see many other people have had the same problem, it almost seems to be the norm.
