audio help please..

Question audio help please..

ok i have the stock radio but it's not the xm,mp3 one... and i know a lot of people whom have there subs hooked up to their stock one.. i took my stock raido out to see if there is rca adapters but there isn't but next to the stock harness there is another prong slot for a connecter any ideas on what that is and how to hook a system up to this?

is there anything else i could use that could be a bit cheaper? and how does that exactly work anyways?

a line out convert is a component that is used to make your system work with a stock head unit. u can scoop one up at best buy for like $20 and you connect it to your back speakers to gain control to the head unit and u plug the RCA's into the line out converter. power wire and ground are still the same. if u got more questions leave me a message. ive been installing systems for years now.

speaker wire in, RCA out is the easiest way to explain it.

i've also been installing for about 9 years so let me know if you need help acquiring/installing anything
