Audio Question

Now I know that IPod has a wireless transmitter that send the music from the IPod to the radio on a preset station. My question is, is there anything similiar to that wireless transmitter of the IPod to where I could plug it into a labtop and have it play my music off the labtop?

Yes there are you can go to most electronic stores and ask for a FM Transmitter. They usually just plug into the headphone jack. So if you buy one it should work for all your audio devices including your IPod.

Yah instead of making a new CD-R everytime I get a new song it would easier to just play it from my Labtop. And also to listen to DVDs better while driving

I know that radio shack was selling one for like 20 dollars, it worked ok, but I'm not a fan of the fm transmitter. I've used it for my portable MP3 player for a while. The reason I have a problem with it is that it gets staticy if there is another station sharing the frequency.

from what I heard it can be set to any dead radio station. I'm going to have to take a look around on my day off at a best buy or some place like that. Thanks guys.

If you have an after market stereo, sometimes you can hard wire it for like $3. If I was going to use a laptop, thats what I would do. My head unit has rca in for this. My sister-in-law's ipod transmitter came with the rca to headphone jack also.
