Auto Air Temp

Hey Yall,

I’m currently trying to make a PCB that automates the air temperature in a 2009 cobalt. My end goal is to use an Arduino micro to completely replace the HVAC Control Module but I can’t find a wiring diagram that shows how signals get sent from HVAC control to the air temp actuator and then how the actuator converts that into turning the air colder or hotter. I’ve found that the 5 wires are: ign voltage(7), air temp dr control(4), air temp dr pos(6), and then the 5v-in and the ground. I’m a bit confused at how the actuator takes signals from wires 7,4, and 6, and makes the air blow colder and hotter. I need to figure out how that works in order to send the appropriate signals from the analog output of the temp sensor and make the air temperature change.
