aux input on a 06 cobalt ss

ok now i have looked at the tread to put an aux input into pre 07 cobalts and i have the xm plug that gores into the back of my radio but how would i get my aux to work if i cant change my radio to xm i tried to hit the source button to get my radio on xm but it wont....so im trying to figure out how to get my aux plug to work

no i dnt have the shark fin but i got 2 connectors running into my radio i cant get to the xm option by hitting the source button

source is only used to go to the cd...try hitting 'band'?

You might have the connectors on the back but if your car never came with XM the radio won't be programmed to go to it I don't think.

ok so does anybody know a way to get my ipod to work on through it without spending 100 bucks? what if i swap a radio with someone who has a xm ready radio? i know itll be locked but i think i can get it unlocked

use a hard wired fm modulator 29.00 bucks on amazon brand is scosche.
