Best Car Speakers....

I am now currently modding the A/V in my 05 Balt and i was wondering what speakers are best for the 5.25 and 6x9 in the back. I've heard alot of talk, but i want to know what you guys think!

I like my Infinity 3-way 6x9s. They hit nicely even without an amp installed yet. My 2-way Rockford Fosgate 6.5s are nice too. Remember that you'll get what you pay. If you pay shitty prices, you'll get shitty products.

I voted Infinity, I have 3 cars with infinity, I like it that much, but thats also for your 5.25 (I would put in 6.5's in the doors) and 6x9's in the rear deck. I'm going with JBL for my car though, all around. But spending alot of money on them.

Where's the option for Hifonics?

Out of the ones you've chosen I'd get either kicker for bass heavy music like Rap and Soul. Or JBL if you listen to stuff liek metal where the mids have to be clear as well.

Infinity or JBL, they are the same thing. To bad their future may not be so clear.

You can't really post a poll on this because everyone's ears and tastes are different. What sounds good to one might sound like crap to the next. Best bet is to go to an audio shop and listen to a bunch of different speakers before you choose.

I'm 100% satisfied with my stock Pioneer equipment and have no intentions on messing with any of it (makes me go deaf enough as it is), but if I were to change it out for whatever reason, I'd probally go with JBL.

my infinity speakers, and 2- 12" polk momo subs was the most clear, best sounding system i've heard to date. (not saying there isn't a better combo, but there probably isn't)
i've heard a hell of alot of systems, R.F., JBL, ect.. none of them sounded better.. my old car was a 97 eclipse GST, so maybe the hatch back thing had something to do with it.. but it sounded amazing.

Harman Inc. has been bought out, its hard to say since it wasnt by a competitor but an investment firm. Chances are they will just split it up and sell it off but there is still quite a bit of time before anything happens.

I had all polk in my xtreme blazer and sounded sooo nice. Ive heard JBL in other cars and that sounded pretty nice as well. Ill probably stick with my stock pioneer though, good enough for me.
