best h.i.d's kit???
well this might be a little off topic and sorry for stealing ur thread but what edzactly go's rong when the hid kits go bad?? do the balasts go bad or do the bulbs just go bad?? if its the bulbs ile get a cheap kit and get new bulbs but most likely its the balaests correct?? Thanks

could be either, check the bulbs, or if one side goes out switch bulbs, if its still out its the ballast. if your going to get cheap kits its probably your problem. you get what you pay for. buy bulb replacements at hidplanet or hidworld.com. look for mccullough or phillips.

3BSpec has a good quality HID kit. That's where I got mine....
But please, if you have the stock headlights do not get HID's. Either retrofit with some projectors or buy some aftermarket projectors for HID's.

The HID's are a bulb/balast combo for quality.
If you can find a kit that comes with "Philips" balasts in it then thats going to be one of the better ones on the market, its going to cost more though.
