Best Way to Seal a Box

So I've been building my sub box myself and I got it all done. The only problem is that I just used the wood glue from putting it together to seal it and when I turned my sub on it totally broke the glue. What do you guys use to seal your boxes properly? Thanks in advance

Here's the setup basically done

Predrill some holes, apply wood glue and shoot screws into it. Once it's dried use caulking around every edge, it'll be air tight.

silicone.. run a nice bead around the entire inside of the box and make sure to hit the corners. push it in with your finger and let it cure for 24 hours with sub not mounted in the box.

Carpenter's glue then pre-drilling screw holes and screw (2in drywall screws) together then use silicon caulk on the inside

Liquid nails on the joints as with screws and caulk the edges with liquid nails, thats how we do it in the shop.

liquid nails sealed much better then wood glue. wood glue is stronger in the end but with mdf and staples/screws it will be strong enough. If ur setup is done i would fiberglass the inside of the box single layer of the mat not cloth and just enough resin

Use a router to carve grooves were you want all your wood pannals to go ie. sides, top, front, back....... Use liquid nails and clamp it down, pre drill and screw. Do not but the back part on untill u use silicone to seal the inside front. then but the back on and glue and screw then calk. this is by far the best way of doing it.

Just used some basic silicone caulking. It worked perfectly and there's no issues yet

Did anyone else misread this title and think it said "best way to steal a box"? Because I had a lot of good ideas until I realized the true title.

man u just brought up some bad memories of a car that got jacked outside our shop. owner was stupid but it had a 15 and a 4cu ported box in an older car with a non folding seat with the X brace. they drilled out the lock but that didnt work so they pried up the trunk on both sides to try and get it open and that didnt work so they destroyed the back seat to see the brace, cut the right side of the brace folded it over and finally got it out. Yet for the amp they didn't cut the wires they unscrewed them all
