bluetooth issues on an 09 ss/tc
yeah so just wondering if anyone else has run into this issue.
whenever i pair my cellphone (htc touch pro 2 from verizon wireless) with the bluetooth in the car my phone freaks out and freezes. its actually a pretty strange problem to this point.
when i first got the car i had pairing issues with my htc touch vogue from verizon where it would only work sometimes while it was connected. figured out it was an issue of having winmobile 6.5 on the phone.
so when i got my htc touch pro 2, at first it paired and connected and worked no problem with the car. i would typically just leave the bluetooth on with the phone throughout the day and it would automatically connect with the car when i turned it on.
now a month or two later from this, whenever i turned on the car the bluetooth would connect but my phone would slow down to a complete crawl when trying to navigate through menus on the phone and then eventually freeze.
i unpaired the car and phone several times with the same problem occuring. i then did a hard software reset on the phone so everything was back to factory and the same issue continued. so i tested the bluetooth with some other devices and it works no problem without the freezing issue.
at this point im stumped. it absolutely doesnt seem like the phone, because it only freezes and slows down only when the car is connected. the phone works fine with any other bluetooth device.
anyone else have a similar problem to this?
its a real pain in the ass to not be able to use the phone with the bluetooth while in car.

My HTC phone worked fine. I never had a problem. I ran Windows 6 or 6.1 on mine, can't remember. I got a new phone since then. Have you tried multiple other phones to see if they work? If they don't work, I'd warranty it and have them check it out. Otherwise, it might just be your phone.

I have the Touch Pro from Sprint and was told that it had a different bluetooth hardware. Mine sucks with my factory bluetooth also. I had upgraded from the Mogul which worked great but not the touch pro.

also i have tried with other phones and i have just had different issues.
its just weird because my htc touch pro 2 is the stock stable version of winmo 6.1. really wish it would just work.

yeah, sometimes my car doesn't find my phone.. i'm running android on my samsung moment and I have to make the phone "discoverable" in order for it to fully connect.
I ran in to issues with my old phone as well, an HTC Touch Pro running WinMo 6.1..
Any news about this update?
