Well for tax returns my girlfriend and I are each doing systems in our cars.

Shes really just doing screen/ amp/ subs/box. Nothing visual really which is cool, she still plans to use her trunk.

This is the setup we talked about for ol blue.....

2- 12" JL W3v2 Dual 4 ohm 12 subs
ported enclosure..

HD900 amp ( JL ) 150x4 4 ohms

4 gauge wiring


C2 components up front
C2 6x9s rear
both JL

then a sick setup with it all, reverse firing subs, we talked about plexiglass, lighting, and a couple other cool things. Have a pop panel to access battery if/when needed.

I almost bought a pair of W3s when I was doing my system 3 years ago. I ended up just going for W6s. You can toss a 1k amp and two 12s in the box and it will sound great and hit pretty hard without blowing anything up in the process. Have you heard a w3 compared to a w6?

 

ya nothign real informative for me to post so might as well do some harassment. the only input id have other then sounds good is im not a huge fan of the c2 speakers but thats personal opinion and i have nothing bad to say about them

 

I had Kicker L7's, drove me nuts, love the sound but hated the weight/space it took up. GL, I wish i could do a slight upgrade to my sound system.

 

Just buy a DD 3500 10 and a fosgate T1000.1BDCP

I had 2-12" l5 subs and christ it was rediculous loud. Same deal tho heavy and ate up space
