Cadillac CTS or G8 factory radio unit in a Cobalt SS

I was just wondering how hard this would be. I would like to try and put one of those in my balt but I don't know what kind of work I am going to put myself through. Nor do I know what the capabilities of these radio have on my car or what my car has for the radios. Ex: Temperature gauge in the radio. Navigational features and etc.

Any info or any kind of input would be greatly appreciated. Thank everyone

What model of CTS? Old style or new style? Old style -may- work but its doubtful because all later model radios are turned on by the CAN bus. There's not really a 12v turn-on anymore.

Newer CTS radio... forget about it.

G8 radio? Again, forget about it. That car is Australian so the radio is COMPLETELY different.

Damn that sucks. I was aiming for like an 06 CTS radio. My boss has a CTS V and I love the radio. I was going to redo the interior anyways so I was going to try and see if it was possible. Thanks guys. Much appreciated!
