Calling LED experts

Alright well I have a couple of questions reguarding leds. My first is about wire gauge, I dont really know anything about it so what size would you use to hook up leds. Also I want to run some wire in my engine bay, do they make special wire for that, like outdoor use? Finally are all switches pretty much the same? I know tnt autosport offers some and i was looking at this one http://www.tntautosport.com/store/in...roducts_id=126 since it lights up when the switch is on, is this a good one? Thanks in advance!

I use simple 22-gauge wire. Its cheap, and since the LEDs barely use any power, it will suffice for a good number of them. As far as running the wire, go through the firewall above the gas pedal, and as long as it is plastic coated (and not just bare metal strands) it will be fine.
