Can I do this?....

i have a 2006 SS model. It has the pioneer system in it. Its pretty good but i have 3 12's from my old car just collecting dust and id like to put them in my car. But I dont have the cash right now to buy a new deck.

What i wanna do is get my amp and subs into my trunk with very little work and wiring. I figure since the battery and the stock sub are all in the trunk, I should only have 1 wire to run to the fuse box?

Question is if I tear into the stock sub can I use the wires leading to that stock sub to plug into my Amp then run my amp to my new subs? Will this work for a imput to the amp or do I have to run new wires from the deck?

no you can't use the stock sub wiring. but you can tap out of the rear speakers using a line out converter

yes you can use the stock sub wiring... I have that setup right now, and works fine...

Many people on the site have done this without any problems, plus you avoid from having to cut into the rear deck speakers

u can also use them as high level inputs if your amp has that option. And u will need to run a remote to the fuse box
