Cant play music videos/DVD's on p4000

Just got it installed and tried to play some music videos I had burned to a DVD, the HU wouldnt even recognize them and they wouldnt show up at all so I converted them to a WMV which should work the the p4000...Still dosent even show up when I try to play them, and when I put in a movie I could hear sound but not see the video at all. The music videos were straight off Itunes..

I have the parking brake switch bypassed btw...anyone have any ideas?

i downloaded a bunch of music videos and have mine bypassed ( not the p4000 but a pioneer unit ) and had to convert to divx to burn them and get it to play, however it will play some off of a usb device if i hook one up, not all tho. check out avic-411 dot com for details

How did you do the bypass? For the new pioneers you can no longer just ground the wire and get picture

well the avi files didnt show up either...i just emailed eclipse but maybe it has to be in a .divx format? Idk it seems weird that they wouldnt even show up...

and its bypassed by grounding with a switch and im able to flip the switch and get rid of parking brake restrictions when im in drive so i dont see why it wouldnt be the exact same for videos
