Car Alarm

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I was looking at some car alarms and I came across this car alarm made by Commando.
http://www.commandoalarms.com/itm30032.htm

What do you guys think about this one? Is there another one with the same features that may be more reliable? I'm mostly interested in the remote start and the LCD transmitter.

I found one that you can put on a manual..... The Bulldog remote starter. I have 2 of them, but have not put one in yet. As for the manual remote start..... you install a pressure switch on the e brake and when you turn the car off with the e brake on it allows the car to be started remotely. I really need to get some spare time and install the dam thing.

You can put car starters on manual transmission cars but the install on them is a long time. for a shop to do it it'll take about 6hrs. And if you do decide to have a shop install a car starter good luck finding one that will install it on a MT car. And if you are thinking about getting an alarm take a look at CompuStar. They make really good stuff.
