CD Player just FUBAR'd itself?

I was driving alone, everything was perfect, then I hit the Fastforward or >> button, for those of you who only speak in icons, haha. Anyway, when I pushed that button, everything on my CD player came on, every light on the screen that is. Now they won't go off. when I power the unit off it says like 14............14.......... and that's it. My warranty ran out LAST WEEK. Any ideas?

Don't say a new one. I just blew all my cash on wheels/tires.

After you turn off the car for ~30min or so it will fix itself, I've recently had this happen 2-3times to me...
