CK or Standard turn signals? (Switchbacks)

CK or Standard turn signals? (Switchbacks)
Alright, I got switchbacks and resisters, and after installing them I couldnt get them to work right. They would be white whether I was turning or not, and when I flipped them around they would only work when turning, but be amber. So I emailed them a big "wtf?" and it seems I ordered CK and the tech does not think I need them. Before I swap them out, am I correct to swap the CK out for standard?
