Clock!

hi everyone,

i have an aftermarket headunit installed in my balt, a Kenwood KDC MP345U.
when the unit has my ipod connected, it does not display the clock.. and you must hit the display button several times to show what the time is.
this is very annoying to do while driving just to figure out what the time is. i had bought a cheap clock from china that connects to the airvent on the dashboard but it ran on batteries and did not light up at night.

does anyone have a fix for this? some kinda clock that i can tap into the fusebox for power for a backlit screen?

thanks!

talk to somebody at best buy or something, i don't think posting on this forum about a kenwood headunit issue is really going to solve anything

found the unit on another site where you only need to buy one, but its power is DC 6volts, if i hardwire that into the fusebox, it will blow whatever fuse i connect it to
