Connecting new h/u...

So my new h/u is installed and works, but the power wire is connected to the headlights power wire in the fuse box on the side. I need to find another wire (like windsheild wipers / sunroof) where i can tap into to connect the power wire from my new deck so I can always have power, not only at night LoL!! Does anyone know which cable is it? Which color? Thanks!!!!

Why not just tap the sunroof fuse with a fuse tap, instead of trying to find the wire in the back??

i use my sunroof fuse (that way it stays on until i open the door)...not sure off hand what color or actual location but it's pretty clearly labeled on the diagram in the fuse panel.

how do you connect a wire onto a fuse? I didn't think you could... Well under the fuse panel on the side of the radio, theres the wires. I thought you can only connect it to an existing wire which is why I asked for the color. Explain the fuse tap process please

use one of these, attach it to the positive?(right) side of the fuse for the sun roof and connect the other end to your red power wire coming from the stereo.

Both sides of the sunroof fuse are positive when the fuse is in. You want to connect the wire to the side that is NOT hot when the fuse is OUT. In other words, you want to connect it to the side *after* the fuse, so the fuse protects your new wiring. I don't really remember but I believe like you said it's the right side.

Firesting, the tab that sticks out of the fuse with the fuse tap is perfect for an insulated female spade terminal to connect to. This way everything is insulated and securely connected.
