the 9400mp is not a new deck, some places might still have it new, but considdering mine was stolen 2 years ago, I would guess not.
So I don't think that exchanging it would be an option, I'd say call up pioneer, they'd probably send one out for a few $.
Another sneakey option would be if you know someone that works at Circuit or BestBuy, have them snag one off of a defective returned one, they get sent back to whay best buy calls "devo" anyway.

ok now i know what ur talking about. I m like one week away from installin my new system. Two rockford 12s and an alpine head unit. There is no remote line. This is not your 12v power soruce. This is your frused power that allows the deck to turn on when the car is started. All you have to do is buy this kit that allows you to run a wire to the fuse box that hooks up as an aux. and allows the deck to turn on and off when the car is running and what not. Take it to a shop and get it installed much cheaper n you dont have to run any wires.

Changed my set up. Now going with two Digital Audio subs that handle 1100 watts rms and a 2000 watt rms digital audio amp. BUMP BUMP BUMMMMMMMPPPPPP can you guys hear me now??? You also do not have to worry about the connection. I was wrong wanted to correct my mistake. There is a power wire there for your remote line aka switched power.

what there was no remote 12v there i tested all the wires with my meter, i just went into the fuse box to get mine and everything worked fine, theres a constant 12v to the battery that you could also hook up your acc wire too but then you would have to turn your stereo on an off manually every time you get in and out of your car, and thats just a bad way to do it, so which wire are you hooking up your ACC too??
