hey. i just got my cobalt not too long ago n i had a few questions. first off i am trying to get a new cd player one that actually can play mp3's...does anyone know if they make dash kits for the '05 cobalt? just wondering b4 i actually take the time into looking at cd players. and does anyone know if 2 15's would even be able to fit? i have 2 mtx 15's in a box and i was gonna try n use em but the more n more i sit n glance at the trunk i keep thinking they might not fit. if they won't fit...i'll have to sell mines and get 2 12's instead..

 

They do make dash kits for our cars.

15's might fit, you'll have to take some measurements, the box can't be over 17" tall and it cant be any wider than ~38" otherwise it will not fit.

 

I was measure my trunk for my enclosure and it was a very tight fit for like a 14" in the coupes. Even through the backseat it was tight. Thats why im building my in the trunk.

 

they do make dashkits and harnesses for our cars... please search, or atleast read a few other threads first...

and as far as 15s in the trunk, yes its very possible, but it would have to be built in to the trunk... not just some off the shelf box...
