Dashcam add-a-fuse causes radio static

I am attempting to run a switched power line from the fuse box on the passenger side in the cabin, under the dash/glove box, up the frame arm and across the windshield to hang down just behind my mirror where my dash cam sits. However Every time I find a switched 10a to tap with my add-a-fuse I get static as soon as the switch is turned on to that fuse.

So if I sit there with my key one click on the radio turns on and works fine (Switched fuses don't have power yet) two clicks and the switched items get power like windows/sunroof the works. as soon as my dash cam gets power on the second click of the ignition the radio goes full static and i can maybe get 2 stations.

Do I need shielded wire to run under the dash or am I just not grounding it well enough? I connected the ground to a few bolts under the dash and even stripped it way back and ran it over to the door and put it on one of the door bolts.

I removed the wiring for now cause I am guessing I will have to run it from the engine bay fuse box. since under the passenger dash causes so much interference
This is the hardwire kit I got:

It works just fine when on the lighter/power outlet under the stereo without static but I want to hide the wire and be able to use that cup holder.

Ground is a ground wire that runs through that hardwire kit, I attached a doughnut clamp thing to it so I can attach it to a bolt/screw. I tried a few bolts under the dash and a bolt on the door and all of them still had static.

I tried all the 10a fuses under the stereo on the passenger side whether they were switched or not. each fuse had different amounts of static but they all had static.

I have the XM option but I don't pay for it so i don't use it for my car and a stubby antenna if that helps out any. I honestly don't understand it other than maybe I had wrapped the wire around the antenna cable and it had interference but i pulled it completely out and just ran it hanging from the camera and it still went static.

ya that shouldnt really cause you to lose stations. Maybe the adapter you have is messed up? Did you try it with the provided cig lighter adapter and see if the same issue occurs?

Yeah I have been using the cig lighter power cable that came with the camera for a few weeks now and there is no issues its just the hard wire kit. I haven't had time to try wiring it up from the engine bay fuse block yet.

It is just an add a fuse thing you can pick up from any auto parts store with the hot wire clamped into it. then a doughnut clamp wire end on the ground. I can take pics when I get home of where I had it wired and what it looked like

power isnt going to matter really the only thing that you are going to try changing is the ground. If it were me i would throw away the hardwire kit and use the cig lighter adapter instead. Solder a power and ground to that. Tape/heatsink it so the connections are covered and ziptie it in a fashion that the wires cant be yanked out. Then connect the power to the add a fuse like you already had and drill a hole for the ground. Put it on a metal part of the body (no door or screw thats already there) and make sure to take off the paint wherever your ring terminal touches the metal

You may be able to try exchanging the hardwire kit first before you go that far assuming you still can
