DIC panel trouble

I've been trying to take off my DIC panel so i can take my radio out.. Can anyone help me out with this panel? I can't seem to find any tools to get it off without scratching anything up. How did everyone else get that panel off?

the panel that has the two buttons for the DIC. You can't just but a flat head behind it without scraping or denting something up. I have to first take off the one clip under the panel under the dash to beable to get a grip on the DIC panel but i can't even take that one clip because everything is so crowed.

if you pull off that large pice of plastic under the steering wheel, you will have easy access to the clips... you HAVE to take this off before you take of the DIC panel... just grab it at the bottom (slightly to the left of the shifter, just grab the bottom and pull) and it will snap out... the dic pannel has 2 clips, on on the bottom right, and one on the upper left... be careful, because the wires are not that long on this one, you don't want to rip the wires out...

if you get a flat head under the first clip that's on the bottom right, you should be able to tug it away enough to see the clip on the top left...

ok, so here's the part you pull off to show the first clip. Just pull, its sturdy, you can't break it if you wanted to. I'm holding it at the top, but you want to pull it off from the bottom

Next, get a flathead and pry out the clip... my finger is the exact location... get the flathead ON the clip, and you don't have to worry about damaging anything... may be a little tough to get out

after that, you should be able to get enough clearance to get the top right clip, which is again by my finger

you're welcome... there's one on the bottom left, but it shouldn't be a problem...it's for the trunk release that's in that little pull-out compartment... that's it... that piece is pretty flexible, so most likely you will just pull the right side off, and the left side will stay attached... even if it comes off, it's long enough where you don't have to worry, as long as you don't go he-man ape **** on it and yank it into the back seat
