Dimming lights in and out

Hey guys I was wondering if you guys have had any trouble with your car lights dimming everything time your bass hits?

If so what did you guys do? did you buy a new alternator, what kind works good and how much bigger and a better one would i need?

What im running right now is a 12 alpine type r with a Alpine MRP-M650 and it seems to be dimming my lights pretty bad any solutions?

Thanks

i had the same prob and a capacitor only helps when you hit hard once in a while not all the time but it will help what you are going to need is another battery or a bigger alternator... or turn down your subs on the amp/bass ***

Ok so why are most of you guys sugesting caps? any reason why.. what do they do. I was thinking of getting a new alternator because it seems like every time it hits the sound gets less loud. seems like im over using the alternator.

What do you guys think

naw juss not enough power to ur system like we all said even juss getting a optima yellow top shop stop that a cap is good if u dont wanna go the route of replacing ur battery and it will stop the dimming of ur lights

your amp could be shorted out too if it just randomly started. get a 4 farad cap and ull be good to go.
