Disabling Unlock honk..

Hey there guys, I tried searching for this one amongst lurking the forums for a little bit and couldn't find any answer, so here we go:

I've got an 05 Cobalt LT. The car sounds the horn when hitting the unlock button on the keyfob and it's gotten pretty annoying. I don't know if this is normal or not on a cobalt, since I'm just borrowing it temporarily and I don't know all of the quirks of the car yet, but my friend who actually owns it wants to know if we can disable it as well.

Is there any way to disable it from doing that?

Thanks.

I think it says in the manual.... But I'm not sure...

I also think you can adjust that on the DIC (Driver Information Center). Those two buttons to the right of the steering wheel.

I think you hold them both down together... Than scroll through to honk honk.

hit both buttons at once, then use "I" to scroll and the other one to change it

Read the manual. lol. Press and hold both the menu and reset buttons on the dash / steering wheel for about 5 seconds. Release. A menu will pop up of options. One is lock/unlock horn.
