Dividers in a subwoofer box

I just finished making a sub box for my 2 12" Hifonics Brutus subs, and 2 10" Hifonics Zeus subs and I'm not satisfied with the look in my trunk. I want something a little more "flashy" so I'm making a fiberglass enclosure. I have just got to the point in fabrication where I need to decide whether or not to make a divided box or a box with a common chamber

Up until now, I have only ever made divided sub boxes because I tend to trust them more. If one sub blows, the others will be safe.

But.. I have also never heard subs that are in an undivided enclosure. Is the sound quality better? Worse? If I were to make an enclosure with a common chamber, would I need to put a divider between the 2 10's and 2 12's?

I'm just looking for a little input here.. thanks!

um... id say stick with dual chambered. single can do wierd things some times and its only few occasions where its better (sealed)

ported is generally best in a single chamber

yeah if your doing sealed you need to put baffels in due to the sub will not be sharing the same air... if they are divided, one you can get closer to the specs of the air sapce for the sub, two they will be much more accurate
