door speaker install

can i just drill new holes and screw the speakers right into the door? i saw the how to to use the original brackets but i could not get it to work. thanks

yes you can but thats a shitty way of doing it. That how to is pretty much how its done. What cant u get to work? what speakers are u using as well

I second that How-To I used it and my speakers went in perfectly. Super easy to do.

i tried the how to. the metal around my speakers is a little to big so the holes wont work. also the main whole is not big enough the speaker wont sit flush
